With how many teams are you planning to participate in each relay?
We will have one women’s team and one men’s team.
Is there a pronounced goal?
The goal is always to set a club record. That means better than 39th for the men and better than 46th for the women.
How’s the form compared to last year?
We think that we’re better on average. We’ve lost som runners but gained some new, but the level is a bit higher this year on those who are assumed to be a part of the team. But we doesn’t have too many aternatives so we hope everyone stays healthy.
Where do you put your effort in your preparations? Technique? Running? Well-being?
It’s a bit too much snow here in the northern parts of Sweden to focus on the technique during the winter. Soon we hope to have a maybe 400 m long stripe of snow free terrain where we can practice. But it’s mostly just running, inside, outside and cross country skiing during the winter. It’s possible we would’ve been better of in a ”ungaffeled” relay.
What are you looking forward to the most at this year’s 10MILA?
No snow, warm weather, fun terrain and good results.
